Fishing

Gold Pines Camp is located on the famous waters of Lac Seul in Ontario’s Northwestern region. Each year thousands of avid fishermen and families embark on a trip to the waters of Lac Seul in search of a memorable fishing experience. Guests at Gold Pine Camp are no different as they come here to fish Lac Seul and hope to land a trophy walleye, northern pike or smallmouth bass.

We invite you to spend some time with us at Gold Pines Camp this spring, summer or fall to fish the 2,000 miles of shoreline that Lac Seul offers and experience some of the best fishing anywhere in Ontario.

Once you’ve spent the day fishing, return to the camp where you can clean your catch in our modern, fully equipped fish cleaning house complete with stainless steel counters and running water.

Getting around Lac Seul is no problem whether you choose to bring your own boat or rent one of the modern, well-maintained boats that Gold Pines Camp offers. The boat options at Gold Pines Camp include a fleet of 17, 18, and 19 foot boats, all equipped with Yamaha four-stroke Yamaha motors, depth finders, and swivel seats. Some of our larger boats also include bow-mounted 24-volt electric trolling motors. We do reserve the right to rent these larger boats to guests who are more familiar with Lac Seul.
