Camp History

Morning Fog Hanging Over Camp And The Lake

Gold Pines Camp is located on the original site of the historic town of Gold Pines. Gold Pines was established back in 1926 as a small tent camp and served many as a place to stay during the Red Lake gold rush. The camp itself was originally built as a Hudson’s Bay Fur Trading Post and was converted to a camp in the 1940’s.
